Awoke early at 4 a.m. and was pulled to the window. The ebb and flow of the ocean resounded gently, providing comfort. I pulled up a chair and sat meditatively witnessing the unusual sight of a pale orange majestic full moon setting over the Pacific. I sat in silent awe, honoring this moment of grace. In a few minutes, the moon all a glow sank beneath the water. It was as if the gods had hidden their sacred fire where no man would discover it: Fire under water. I returned to bed grateful for this unexpected visitation.<\/p>\n

I teach now all over the world \u2013 America, Europe, & Asia \u2013 yet somehow Esalen is the best. There is no place on earth more exquisite. I float around gardens and lawn with gratitude in my heart. Esalen, an oasis in today\u2019s hectic world, is a sacred space where magic happens.<\/p>\n
