This week watching the Golden Globes Award, it struck me how most often those that succeed in Hollywood and other areas of achievement have one thing in common. They know who they are and often from a very young age know what they came here to do in life. Of course there are exceptions which only prove the rule.

I am always amazed how even when very young, those tendencies toward science or the arts are there in us from the get go – as if we come in knowing what we came here to do.

The other component is to accept who we are totally and to follow that faithfully. Such people know if something doesn’t fit and will say ‘no’ to what is not for them. To be true to who we are more often than not create allies in others and in the spirit so that doors may sometimes open magically directing us to opportunities to manifest our gifts.
