Just back from speaking at the Alaska Writers Guild Conference in Anchorage, AK. Gorgeous country and very nice people. Then visiting my son and his family in Seattle, WA. Rainy but beautiful.

While teaching in UK last May-June, I was invited to do an interview with Julia McCuthchen on Oct 7. Over 25,000 writers from all over the world tune in so the topic will be writing and sharing tips.

You can tune in via your computer on or after October 7, 2010 for her interview with me about writing. http://www.iaccw.com/5/member-events

This Sat, Oct 2 www.wayofstory.com/workshops I present a Way of Story in Ojai, CA .

This class is offered one Saturday every six months. Some return and take in again as a jumpstart.

Had planned to catch up on movies as I’ve been so many weeks on the road, yet how little there is out there I even wish to see. Where are the movies for baby boomers who like to think?

So I stay home and watch Mad Men and Masterpiece Theatre. Also re-viewing Six Feet Under. Brilliant character development and dialogue – though a bit overly graphic sometimes for my taste.

The only certainty is uncertainty. This is my quote for the week and apt for our times.

Two have signed up for The Way of Story in Tuscany, June 11-18, 2011. See www.wayofstory.com for flyer.

Whether England,  Ojai, Tuscany, Alaska, NY, or wherever you are, keep writing!!!
