Once in East Africa, on the shores of an ancient lake,

I sat alone and suddenly it struck me what community is.

It is gathering around a fire and listening to someone tell us a story.

  I have been invited to tell my story or that part which follows the writer’s journey. The journey is a journey back to Self – the only one worth taking.  Perhaps hearing one writer’s journey may echo and give meaning to your own. This is my hope for this afternoon.

Catherine Ann Jones, M.A. in depth psychology, is an award-winning author, playwright (Calamity Jane, On the Edge, The Women of Cedar Creek) and screenwriter (The Christmas Wife (Jason Robards, Julie Harris), Unlikely Angel (Dolly Parton), Touched by an Angel series).
